We are currently recruiting reliable, hard-working individuals to join our moving crew as 3.5t working drivers and porters.

Our Team Structure

Our removal teams typically consist of a minimum of two people (Driver and Porter), but often expand to three or four members for larger jobs, ensuring efficiency and safety. Both roles require active participation in all aspects of the move.

Position 1:
3.5t Working Drivers / Lead Porters

This is a hands-on role where you are integral to the removal crew, not just the transport provider. You will often lead the 2-person team on smaller jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely driving 3.5-tonne removal vehicles (Luton vans) in compliance with all road traffic regulations.
Active participation in all moving duties, including packing, wrapping, dismantling, reassembling furniture, and careful handling of items.
Assisting with the careful loading and unloading of the vehicle, ensuring all goods are secured safely for transit.
Managing necessary paperwork, conducting vehicle checks, and representing the company professionally at all times.

Essential Requirements:

A full, valid UK driving licence (Category B).
For insurance purposes, you must be 25 years of age or older.
A minimum of two years’ experience driving 3.5t vehicles for commercial purposes is required.
The candidate must be physically fit and capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as part of the team.
You should also possess excellent timekeeping skills and a thorough understanding of the local area.

Position 2:
Removal Porters / Movers

Porters are the core strength of our service, providing the physical expertise required to handle all items with care and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Packing, wrapping, and protecting furniture and fragile items to the highest standards.
Carefully loading and unloading items, ensuring no damage to goods or property.
Disassembling and reassembling furniture when required.
Following all health and safety procedures, particularly manual handling guidelines.

Essential Requirements:

Physically fit and able to undertake heavy lifting throughout the working day.
The candidate must be reliable, punctual, and highly motivated.
A polite, helpful, and customer-focused attitude.
Experience in the removals industry is an advantage but not essential, as complete training will be provided.
