Full packing
We pack everything in your home or office, room by room. Every item is wrapped, boxed, and labelled clearly by room so unloading at the other end is organised and efficient. Packing is typically carried out the day before your move
Partial packing
If you would prefer to pack certain rooms yourself, we handle the rest. Many customers ask us to cover the kitchen, fragile items, artwork, and mirrors, while they pack books, clothing, and personal items themselves. Any combination works
Kitchen and fragile only packin
Glassware, crockery, ornaments, ceramics, artwork, and mirrors require specialist wrapping. We use acid-free tissue, bubble wrap, double-walled boxes, and reinforced corner guards. If you are confident packing general items but want peace of mind on the delicate things, this is the option
Packing materials
All required materials are included or available to supply: double-walled removal boxes in all sizes, bubble wrap, packing paper, stretch film, Furni-Soft furniture pads, reinforced corner guards, and packing tape. Materials can also be ordered separately in advance if you are packing yourself.

For smaller moves where you still want packing help, we can combine a man and van booking with partial or fragile-only packing. The packing is factored into your booked time

Delicate pieces, such as ceramics, figurines, and decorative art, are meticulously wrapped in acid-free tissue and bubble wrap, then placed in double-walled boxes for optimal cushioning. We handle each item as if it were irreplaceable, because to you, it often is.

Every packing booking includes Goods in Transit and public liability insurance. If an item is damaged during packing or transport as a result of our work, you are covered. We use the right materials for every item type precisely to avoid this, but the cover is there regardless.

Do you offer packing materials separately?
Yes. Double-walled removal boxes in all sizes, bubble wrap, packing paper, acid-free tissue, and tape are available to order separately through our packing materials service. We can deliver in advance or bring on the day. If you are packing yourself, having the right materials makes a significant difference.
When is the packing carried out?
Full packing is typically carried out the day before your move date. This gives the team a full day without the pressure of the removal happening simultaneously, and means everything is ready to load first thing on moving day. Smaller volumes can sometimes be packed on the morning of the move if preferred, subject to time.
Can I pack some items myself and have you pack the rest?
Yes, this is one of the most popular options. Many customers pack non-fragile items, books, clothing, and personal belongings themselves, and ask us to handle the kitchen, glassware, crockery, artwork, and mirrors. You keep costs down, we handle the items where professional wrapping matters most.
What happens if something is damaged during packing?
Every packing booking includes Goods in Transit and public liability insurance. If an item is damaged as a result of our packing or handling, you are covered. We use appropriate materials for every item type to prevent this, but the insurance is in place on every job regardless.
Do you pack fragile items differently?
Yes. Glassware, crockery, ornaments, ceramics, mirrors, and artwork are each wrapped individually in acid-free tissue and bubble wrap, then placed in double-walled boxes with appropriate cushioning. We do not mix fragile and heavy items in the same box, and all fragile boxes are clearly marked.
Can you pack bags instead of boxes?
Soft bags are useful for lightweight, non-fragile items such as bedding, pillows, cushions, and soft toys. For everything else, sturdy double-walled boxes are strongly recommended. They stack securely in the van and protect their contents during transport. We always recommend boxes as the primary option.
Should I tape the bottom of boxes before packing?
Yes. Always tape both the top and bottom of every box with strong packing tape, applied in the H-tape method across the seam and edges. This keeps the box structurally sound when stacked and prevents the base from giving way during loading or transport.
Do you offer an unpacking service at the other end?
Yes. We can unpack boxes at your new address and place items on a flat surface in the relevant room, kitchen items to the kitchen, bedroom items to the bedroom, and so on. We do not arrange cupboards, wardrobes, or drawers, as the layout and personal preferences are best handled by you or someone who knows the household. All packaging waste is removed once unpacking is complete. Let us know when requesting your quote and we will include it in the plan.
