What it means
The National Guild of Removers & Storers was established in 1991 and the Removals Industry Ombudsman Scheme in 2002. Guild status awards are reviewed every year and rise with length of membership and a clean customer service record, so they cannot be bought or kept without earning them. The Perfect Record award comes from the Ombudsman, the independent body customers can turn to if a dispute with a member remover is not resolved.
