  3. 3.5t Maxi Mover Van – Ultimate Lightweight Low Loader

At Best London Removals, we rely on the 3.5t Maxi Mover van for many of our man and van,  home and office removals.

These vehicles are lightweight low loaders, designed to combine maximum capacity with easy manoeuvrability, ideal for London streets, narrow access roads, and long-distance relocations across the UK.

Why choose the 3.5t Maxi Mover van?

A single 3.5t Maxi Mover offers an impressive 24 cubic metres of loading space, making it suitable for:

With the ability to carry a payload of up to 1,600 kg, these vans allow us to move more in fewer trips, saving both time and cost for our customers.

Dimensions and capacity

  • Internal length: 4.50 m

  • Internal width: 2.10 m

  • Internal height: 2.70 m

  • Internal volume: up to 24 m³

  • Payload: up to 1,600 kg

This size makes the Maxi Mover perfect for transporting bulky furniture, boxed household contents, or office equipment securely.

Fully equipped for every move

Each of our vans comes prepared with:

  • Heavy-duty moving blankets

  • Professional straps and ties

  • Moving trolleys and sack trucks

This ensures your belongings are always protected and securely held in place during transit.

What fits inside a 3.5t Maxi Mover?

The 3.5t Maxi Mover van provides more usable space than a standard Luton van.

  • A typical Luton van offers around 18–20 m³ of volume, with an internal height of about 230 cm, and the payload is reduced because of the tail lift weight, usually by around 200–250 kg.
  • By contrast, our Maxi Mover has up to 24 m³ of loading volume, an internal height of 270 cm, and a payload of up to 1,600 kg.

This means the Maxi Mover can carry bulkier, taller furniture and more items in a single trip, while also handling more weight safely.

A single Maxi Mover can typically transport:

  • 50–60 medium boxes
  • 2–3 sofas
  • Beds and mattresses (including king-size)
  • Large wardrobes or tall cabinets (up to 2.7 m)
  • Dining sets, desks and office chairs
  • Kitchen appliances such as fridge-freezers and washing machines
  • Bicycles, sports gear or small garden equipment

For bigger homes, we can use two or more Maxi Movers, which is often more practical than sending one large lorry, especially when dealing with width restrictions, easier manoeuvring on busy London streets, or countryside roads.

Why we use 3.5t vans

  • Narrower build (around 7 ft wide) means it can pass through width restrictions.

  • Easier to manoeuvre on busy London streets and countryside roads.

  • Large enough for most small to medium moves without needing a lorry.

  • Can be used individually or in multiples for larger moves.
