The van
At Best London Removals, we rely on the 3.5t Maxi Mover van for many of our man and van, home and office removals.
These vans are lightweight low loaders, designed to combine maximum capacity with easy manoeuvrability: ideal for London streets, narrow access roads and long-distance moves across the UK.
A single Maxi Mover suits 1 to 2 bedroom flat and house removals, medium to large moves, store collections, bulky item deliveries and multi-drop jobs. With a payload of up to 1,600 kg, we move more in fewer trips, saving you time and cost.

Capacity
One Maxi Mover typically takes the furniture of a 1 to 2 bedroom flat, together with its boxes, bags and suitcases. For bigger homes, we use two or more vans.
Beds and mattresses, sofas, wardrobes, chests of drawers, a dining set and a desk, plus kitchen appliances such as a fridge-freezer and a washing machine.
These pack in around and above the furniture, so the van is used from floor to ceiling.
With 2.70 m inside, tall pieces travel standing up. IKEA PAX wardrobe panels (236 cm) fit upright, where a Luton van with about 230 cm inside cannot take them.
A 4-seater sofa of 2.5 m or more can stand on end, which leaves the floor free for the rest of your move.

Why 3.5t vans
A narrower build (around 7 ft wide) passes through width restrictions and is easier to manoeuvre on busy London streets and country roads. It is large enough for most small to medium moves without needing a lorry.
Around 18 to 20 m³ of volume, with an internal height of about 230 cm. The tail lift weight usually reduces the payload by around 200 to 250 kg.
